CIC

The CIC (Certificate of Knowledge of Italian for Business) examinations are the world's leading range of certificates for learners of Italian. They certify that the holder's knowledge of the Italian language is adequate to interact and work in business contexts. The examination takes place for both levels (Intermediate and Advanced) once a year in June. The relevant certificate is issued by the Perugia University for foreigners and recognized both by the Italian Department of Education and the Italian Department of Foreign Affairs. It provides an evaluation of the ability to interact and work in Italian business contexts.

The CIC exam levels are 2 and refer to the ones defined by the Common European Framework:
CIC I (Intermediate) - B1 and CIC A (Advanced) - C1
